The Direct Timing Of God

I hadn’t even been in my house for a year and I have seen more caterpillars and butterflies than I have seen in years. They are becoming a rarity. One day I saw 4 caterpillars in a row. I got so excited, like a little kid I decided to collect them. I got a jar and made sure there were different sizes of grass for them to crawl on, that there was enough grass at the bottom for them to eat from and there were enough holes at the top for them to breath. I made sure to continue to check on them from time to time. One day I checked on them and noticed that one of them had died, one had gotten away and the others were decreasing in size. I had never seen anything like it. I couldn’t figure out for the life of me what was happening. I heard something say let them go. I really didn’t want to, but since my method wasn’t working I did so. Not sure if they even survived, but I never saw to many more after that. Today as God was downloading some stuff into me he took me back to that moment a year ago and said the reason why they were dying is because you had confined them into a place they were never meant to fit in and you tried to transform them into something before their time. They weren’t ready to be transformed into butterflies yet. To everything there is a time and a season. The process is unavoidable, but because you were trying to turn them into something before their timing it was becoming detrimental to their health. If you aren’t careful you can conform to the opinons and identity of others instead of transforming to the identity of Christ which you are called to. Don’t allow anyone to confine you to a place (a box) that you were never meant to fit in. Your were never designed to live in bondage. But don’t go ahead of God’s timing. Even when God shows us certain things it doesn’t mean that we are suppose to immediately go.  When it is your time and your season you will know it. Not only will you be able to sense it in the air, but as you get into position everything else will fall into place. Someone asked tthe question, how will know that you are in your purpose. It’s something that really can’t be explained other than you will just know. Be ye anxious for nothing, wait on the direct timing of God. Your season of change is coming quicker than you think and you can’t afford to let it pass you by this time. Ready yourself to jump in when God says NOW! Get in position because you are next in line.

Push Past The Pain

I was at the hospital getting ready to give birth to my first child. My plan was to try and have her natural with out any medication, but after 11 hours the pain began to increase and I could no longer stand it without some assistance. My sister had been begging for me to get some medicine for hours because she was afraid that I was going to go off on someone. Anyone who has given birth or witnessed someone giving birth knows that it is very intense. Although the medicine only helped subdue the pain and not alleviate
the pain it was better than nothing at all. It was getting closer to the time for me to get ready to deliver the baby. At this point in time I was ready to go, but I understood the reason why I had to wait. When it was time they said push. I had to quickly gather up every little ounce of strength that I had to help me push past the pain that I was experiencing at the moment. This didn’t feel good at all, but I kept my focus on the end result which was to deliver this baby. After the 1st push they told me not to push again until they told me to no matter how ready I thought that I was. They had to check and see where the baby was and didn’t want to put any extra stress on me or the baby. I found myself back in the waiting position again trying get through the pain. They said that they could see the baby’s head which meant that we were very closer to delivering a baby. The Doctor said on this next push we need you to give all that you have. When they said push I let out this tremendous scream because the pain was so great, but no matter how great the pain I had to push past it  in order for the baby to come out. I felt great relief as the pain was starting to subside and I heard her cry for the first time. Tears of joy came streaming down my face because of the end result of the pain that I had to push through was worth it. I have experienced and am experiencing something’s in my life that I am having to push through the pain. Some pain had been caused because I came out of my waiting position to soon thinking  that it was time or that I was ready. Although I was very close to what God had promised for me it wasn’t quiet time for me to proceed forward. A holding or waiting position is not a time where we are being punished, but where God is grooming us and preparing us for what is to come.  There are sometimes in life that we may not have caused the pain it may have been inflected upon us, but for everything that God allows there is a reason. It’s not meant to destroy us nor harm us although at the times it feels like it might. If you find yourself in the waiting position don’t move before it is time. If we go before our timing it can delay, abort or cause us to go through it again. Timing is everything. Maybe you are having to push past the pain. Not matter the intensity of your pain it is not the time to give up or give in. It is through the pain that God is producing great things through you and you want see the end result until you push past the pain.

You Can Begin Again

A little over a year now the Lord allowed me to build my very first home.  The process began in 7/2012.  I had just finalized my divorce in Oct/2011 that left me as a single parent to raise 3 kids living in a 2 bedroom apartment with very little room.  When I was presented with this opportunity to build the first thing I did was go pray about it and the Lord said, yes.  As a single mother I still had reservations, “Can I really do this”, but God said that I could so I moved forward.  They explained the process that we would have to go through in order to build the home and even though they explained the process in detail nothing prepared me for the experience that I would have to endure.  It wasn’t the fact of me just building one home, but building 6 from the ground up. Though the process was long and very painful I would question my decision as I found myself wanting to give up because at time it was unbearable, but I kept thinking about why I was doing it.  It was to be able to provide something better for my girls and it made me continue in the process. When the process was over and I was handed the keys to move into my new home it made me appreciate my experience after going through the process not only because of what I learned, but the end result was more than I could have ever imagined. In life there are processes that we have to endure that don’t feel good at all, but it is necessary for our making. Think of what you have become after going through what you have gone through. Imagine had I quit in the middle of the process of me building the homes and then trying to start over again. It wouldn’t have been as easy the second time around and it probably would have been much harder for me to endure the process. As the New Year begins I have realized that I don’t need a New Beginning. Simply take everything that I have experienced and everything that I have learned up until this point and us it as a foundation to BEGIN AGAIN right where I am. No matter how hurtful, how painful or how harsh it maybe you can use it for your advantage and turn your negatives into positives that will launch you further into your destiny. So my New Years Resolution is not to start a new or to start over but to simply BEGAN AGAIN

The Developer

Never Be The Same By Shana Wilson

When I look at the technology that we have now it makes me wonder how did we ever do without it. Even with the best of techno L ogy it isn’t perfect and it doesn’t always work properly. You can’t even imagine how many recalls, how many times they’ve had to go back to the drawing board or how many times it’s been completely taken apart, but to only start over again. I remember when we use to have cameras and you would have to take the roll of film in to be developed. On the film you could see the image of a picture, but it was only a glance of what it appeared to be. You could only guess what it turn out to look like according to the image that you could see and what you might remember it to be until it was developed. Once the picture was developed it turned out to be more than what you could ever think or image. They say a picture has a thousand words. It was “picture perfect”. It had to go through the process before it was developed into it’s true state or identity. Sometimes it take us failing many times just to get that one thing right, but how awesome it turns out to be once completed. Every mistake, every mishap, ever wrong or bad decision, flaws and all the developer (God) will take every (-) negative film and develop it into a (+) positive picture. Instead of working against you they are all working for you. “The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me; thy mercy, O alord, endure the forever: forsake not the words of thine own hands” Psalm 138:8 We have to trust the developer (God) enough to make us “picture perfect” #CLEANTHISHOUSE

Go Through The Process

Overcome by New Life Worship

Yesterday when I went to get my mail I received something from the Red Light Enforcement Program. Scratching my head I opened it up and there were 3 shots of my car which included one of my licenses tag. Apparently I was being issued a ticket for running the red light. Right! With my mouth wide open all I could say was WOW! I remembered the moment very well as if it were yesterday. I was trying to get to my destination by a certain time and as I approached the light and it was turning yellow instead of my cautioning to stop I put the petal to the metal thinking I had a little more time and went straight through the light. Speed doesn’t mean progress and nor will it insure you to get to your destination any quicker. I still would have had to go through the process of waiting at the next light. So what if I were a few minutes late. What if someone would have taken a chance at the same time that I did, it could have be worse than just a ticket.  Sometimes in life we must take chances, but some chances can be fatal if they aren’t the right ones to take. We have to learn to stop taking short cuts and chances that at one time or another worked for us so we thought. The next time it could cause us major damage or something more fatal. Is it worth taking our life or the life of someone else. Everything that we do effects no only us but someone else. If I would have paced myself I would have had more time. Time management. Preparing my clothes the day before, getting plenty of rest by going to bed a little bit earlier, wake up a little bit earlier, leave out a little earlier. This would not only help me to get to my destination on time if not earlier, but also prepare me for any delays that might come along the way. Even though I reached my destination on time I had to gather myself before even getting out of the car because I felt rushed and on edge. If we get anything in life before it’s time especially when we are aren’t ready for it the same thing that was meant to be bless us could turn around and curse us. The things that we learn while going through the process become much more valuable when we have reached or destination at the appointed time. #CLEANTHISHOUSE

Unnecessary Clutter

I Will Run by Freddy Rodriguez
Take Me To The King by Tamela Mann
As I was cleaning out my apartment just when I thought that I was done I would come across more stuff. At this point I want to throw it all away because I don’t want to go through the process of cleaning it out. I realized that each item is connected to a memory and not everything needs to be thrown away. There is still value that lies in the midst of the clutter. The things that accumulate over the years. Had I done the necessary cleaning through out the years it wouldn’t be so much to go through, throw away or deal with. In life we tend to clutter our minds and our hearts with unneccasary stuff which over a period of time will become cluttered. We are then unable to think clearly, our hearing becomes off and our vision becomes blurred.  The battle begans in the mind which gives the signal to the rest of our body. Whatever you feed the most is what will grow.#CLEANTHISHOUSE

Introduction to Clean This House

Break Every Chain by Tasha Cobbs
Clean This House by Isaac Carree

I was going through the process of transition as I was exiting one season of life and entering into another one.”Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it. I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert” Isaiah 43:19 God began to deal with me and take me through a healing and a cleansing process. As I was going through this transition in my life He began to reveal them to me as if in parables. As it is in the natural so it is in the spirit. He uses natural methods of cleaning our physical house to cleaning our spiritual house.Through this was birthed “CLEAN THIS HOUSE”I noticed the more transparent I became and the more I released the more freedom, the more peace that I felt and the chains that once held me captive and kept me in bondage began to break in my life.My prayer is that as we take this journey together that God will give you a new look on life and that you will find the courage to #CLEANTHISHOUSE
